Starting from humble beginnings in 2001, the Malaysia Technology Expo (MTE) started off as a platform for inventors and innovators to showcase their findings. This year, now in its 19th edition, MTE has grown to become one of the region’s most recognised and respected international invention exhibitions, each year connecting more inventors with industry players. In fact, MTE has built a culture of excellence, being known for its prestigious awards and continues to welcome over 500 exhibits annually.
Firmly established on the international invention and innovation shows circuit, MTE will once again provide inventors and innovators with a powerful medium to establish their identity and promote their products to industries and investors in the region. MTE 2020 provides a one-stop platform for inventors, designers and entrepreneurs to showcase their latest inventions, ideas, prototypes, products and designs to investors, manufacturers, distributors and marketers in Asia and beyond, paving the way to connect them with those who are seeking new ideas, as well as technology commercialisation and collaboration.

The 19th Malaysia Technology Expo, MTE 2020, is a one-stop showcase of the latest R&D and technologies, inventions and innovations, designs and ideas. It is a space where creators come together to gain exposure and are given an abundance of market opportunities to commercialise, with access to investors.
Every year, creators from universities, research institutions and the corporate sectors from across Asia, Europe, and other regions, come together to present the work they have spent the last year working on.
