Malaysia Coffee Fest 2017

The first ever Malaysia Coffee Fest will celebrate everything that is wonderful about Malaysia’s vibrant coffee culture. From top class baristas to talented local artisan roasters, to fiercely independent coffee shops and more, it will all happen right here in Kuala Lumpur from 5 to 7 May 2017.

The iconic Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) will take center stage as the venue of the inaugural Malaysia Coffee Fest 2017.

Coffee in Malaysia has been enjoying a promising growth in recent years mostly due to the increasing urbanisation of the country. Lifestyle changes and the demands of young consumers for convenient and fashionable products, have had a positive impact on the growth and direction of the industry. Everywhere in Malaysia, coffee is celebrated in hip and bustling cafes that serve up some of the most creative brews of specialist coffee and in charming, rustic coffee shops that serve the familiar and comforting brew of local Malaysian kopi – making up Malaysia’s colourful and vibrant coffee scene.

The coffee celebration is organised by the creator of the highly successful Café Malaysia series, CEMS Conference & Exhibition (Malaysia) Sdn. MIHAS 2017

mihas2017MIHAS is an annual trade fair held every second quarter of the year in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Organised under the auspices of the Malaysian government, MIHAS is hosted by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and is organised by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (Matrade).

The annual convergence of global halal producers and its buying market provides a springboard to the extensive global halal consumer market, strengthening and positioning halal certified products, along with Islamic financial and investment services as the product of choice.

Malaysia’s central position in Asia makes it an ideal trading platform to draw the world’s Halal players in facilitating the sourcing and selling of global quality Halal products through THE 14th MALAYSIA INTERNATIONAL HALAL SHOWCASE (MIHAS).

Inaugurated in 2004 with the sole aim of facilitating the sourcing and selling of quality Halal consumables, products and services globally, this annual trade fair is in effect the largest congregation of Halal industry players.

Food & Hotel Malaysia 2017 (FHM)

fhm2017Malaysia’s premier trade only food and hospitality show, FHM, will be back for the 14th time from 26-29 September 2017. FHM 2015 broke all records with 22, 759 visitors from 57 countries an increase of 21% from the previous event in 2013. Exhibitor numbers also reached record levels with an incredible 1200 companies taking part from 50 countries.
