The Selangor International Business Summit 2022 (SIBS) is the 6th edition of the state government-backed conference and exhibition series since its inception in 2016. Under the theme, Selangor the Gateway to ASEAN, the event brings together global brands and congregating industry players from around the world.

Last year, SIBS returned in hybrid, featuring four main existing components with two newly launched components, the 7th Selangor International Expo (SIE Medic) and inaugural Selangor Industrial Park Expo (SPARK). Due to the global pandemic, the return of the physical summit aimed to revive the economic development from various industrial sectors and services sectors that were previously affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year, SIBS will be back in physical from 6 – 9 October 2022, comprising six main components:

The fifth edition in 2021, which took place from October 18 to 21 last year, has achieved a potential transaction value of RM217.6 million and attracted over 25,410 visitors, surpassing the initial set target of 10,000 visitors. Since its inception, SIBS has been a platform that provides business representatives with the opportunity to engage in a dialogue with key decision-makers and demonstrate that business can play a crucial part in developing solutions to the most pressing issues in ASEAN, building a brighter Tomorrow, Today.

MIRF 2022 (Malaysia International Retail & Franchise Exhibition) is organized by the Malaysian Retail Chain Association (MRCA).
